Marwari ( Mārwāṛī मारवाड़ी; also rendered Marvari, Marwadi, Marvadi), is spoken in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Marwari is also found in the neighboring state of Gujarat and Haryana and in Eastern Pakistan. With some 13.2 million speakers (as of 1997, ca.), it is the largest language by number of speakers of the Marwari subgroup of the Rajasthani language. A pinnacle (from Latinpinnaculum, a little feather, pinna, compare panache) is an architectural ornament originally forming the cap or crown of a buttress or small turret, but afterwards used on at the corners of and in many other situations. The pinnacle looks like a small spire. It was mainly used in Gothic architecture.
